Ballet Brazos Lead Dancer
Zoe Jones
Zoe first began dancing with Suzanne’s School of Dance at the age of three, and again after a five year break. Zoe returned to her ballet studies after watching Ballet Brazos’s The Nutcracker in 2016. She joined Ballet Brazos as quickly as she could and has enjoyed four seasons dancing in The Nutcracker as Clara, Harlequin Doll, Marzipan Corps, Spanish Corps, Party Girl, Baker, Soldier, and Angel. She is in her fifth year dancing with The Ballet Academy, studying under John and Aya Reid, Christi Varvel and Mariah Pfeiffer. Zoe has studied under Ashley Laracey of the New York City Ballet, Katy Ellison, and spent two summers with the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Summer Course, and one summer each with Colorado Ballet and the Houston Ballet Academy. She is a second year member of Encore Ballet Company, three year member of Company Abundance, under Emily Anton, and Alana Clark and with the direction of Bethany Sleebos and Andrea Sheridan. Zoe is thrilled to dance as Dew Drop Fairy, Flower Fairy, Marzipan Corps and Snowflake this season!
