Sydney Lovett

Sydney Lovett trained at Hintze Dance Center under the direction of Virginia Hintze most of her life, from the age of seven until sixteen. At Hintze, Sydney danced on the competition team for seven years, competing at the prestigious Youth American Grand Prix for three of those years. She also participated in the production of the Nutcracker for three years, dancing the role of a Spanish dancer, a flower in the waltz of the flowers, and snow queen. Following her time at Hintze, she served as a member of her high school drill team, the Crimson Cadettes, for three years where she received a multitude of awards for her solos. She also served as an officer her junior year and then captain her senior year.

Sydney is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a speciality in Dance Science at Texas A&M University, with hopes of a future career teaching and choreographing dance. She was a member of the Texas A&M Aggie Dance Team the past two years and has enjoyed competing at the collegiate level. She has choreographed numerous dances for schools and individuals. Sydney currently works on the teaching staff at Suzanne’s School of Dance, as well as serves as a dance and contest staff member for Ascension Dance. Sydney’s lifelong passion for dance continues to grow as she enters into her eighteenth year of dance.
