Suzanne Moreau is the founder of Suzanne’s School of Dance and Artistic Director for Ballet Brazos. Suzanne's early training began at Ingram School Of Dance in Orange,- Texas under the direction of Mary Alice Callihan. She had the privilege of studying under guest artists from Joffrey Ballet and American Ballet Theater. Suzanne received a full summer scholarship from Southern Methodist University under the direction of Nikita Talin. She was a seven year company member of Beaumont Civic Ballet, a pre-professional company under the direction of Marsha Woody Zummo.

Her roles in The Nutcracker included Snow corp, Lead Chinese, Waltz of the Flowers, and a fun loving tumbling grandma in the party scene! Suzanne also performed with Jefferson Jazz Ballet Company under the direction of Mark Sharon. Suzanne's other involvements during her high school years included lead roles in Orange Community Theater Productions, competitive diving, and cheerleading. After graduating from high school, Suzanne underwent corrective back surgery for scoliosis. Her passion for dance helped get her back to the stage one year later.

Suzanne and her husband moved to the Bryan/College Station community in 1984 where she continued her training under Ana Ludmilla Gee. She taught students for many years before Suzanne’s School of Dance was established in 1992. Thirty-two little dancers grew in abundance over 21 years and the studio was then passed down to Bethany Brantley Sleebos in 2013. Bethany was a student of Suzanne’s for many years and is now continuing this legacy with her husband Patrick.

Suzanne and her husband Chuck have three sons, three daughter-in-loves and three precious grandchildren. She has always desired for her students and teachers to strive for excellence in every rehearsal and bring that passion and excellence to the stage for our wonderful B/CS community.
