Megan Elliott trained at Fort Bend Academy of Dance under the direction of Michael Banigan, Diane Jarell, Sally Rojas-Herrera, and Erin Duncan. She later danced for six years with the pre-professional company BalletForte until graduating high school in 2017. She performed in numerous Ballet Forte productions, dancing a variety of Principal roles including Aurora in Sleeping Beauty, Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Queen of the Dryads in Don Quixote, amongst others. She was also a two-time Youth America Grand Prix competitor.
Miss Elliott is a 2021 graduate of Texas A&M University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a specialty in Dance Science. She was recognized as an Undergraduate Research scholar for her research project examining the impact of the Beatles upon American culture and society, culminating with her 2021 original modern dance production The Fab Four. Upon graduation from Texas A&M Miss Elliott danced with the Oklahoma City Ballet Company as a Post-Graduate dancer for the 2021-2022 season. There she continued her ballet training under the direction of Racheal Nye, Robert Mills, Bruce Steivel and other faculty members. During her time at OKCB she had the pleasure of dancing in the Company’s production of The Nutcracker, as well as studio company performances.
Miss Elliott now resides in Houston, Texas, where she is pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. She continues to pursue her lifelong love for dance, teaching dancers in the Houston area.
