Laura Garrett
Dr. Laura Garrett is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Texas A&M University (2002) and holds a BS in Biomedical Science. She went on to complete both medical school (2007) and medical residency (2011) at The University of Texas at Houston. She is a board certified Anesthesiologist who has been practicing in Bryan/College Station for the past 8 years.
Laura has always possessed a deep love for the art of ballet, beginning her own training at the young age of 2. She grew up attending yearly performances of The Nutcracker with her family, which sparked a lifelong love of the art.
Dr. Garrett has had the privilege of performing in four Nutcracker Ballets in her lifetime. The most recent of which was the 2018 Ballet Brazos production of The Nutcracker where she danced the roles of Snowflake and Rosebud.
After dancing with Ballet Brazos, she began volunteering with the organization in 2019 and became an official member of the Board of Directors in 2020. She is currently the Director of Planned Giving and a Co-Chair for the House Front.
Laura and her husband Bryan are the proud parents of three children.
