Casey Sink

Casey Sink was born and raised in the Midwest. She has made her way south gradually after graduating from Purdue University with a B.S. in Math and Computer Science. She has spent over 20 years in the IT industry as a Software Engineer and Web Application Developer. She moved to College Station in 2013 with her husband and two daughters. Her husband is a Professor at Texas A&M.

Her love of ballet started at a very young age upon seeing The Nutcracker when she was three, further grew while taking ballet classes and intensified when her youngest daughter started becoming a serious dancer.

She has spent her whole life sewing and crafting; any spare time is usually spent creating. Volunteering to make costumes for Ballet Brazos since 2015 has been inspiring. She most looks forward to working on costumes for The Nutcracker every year. Building on her skills, she has become invested in costuming and making tutus is one of her favorite activities.

Casey believes being behind the scenes and part of the significant efforts it takes to put on a major production has continually been an experience of a lifetime. Contributing to the opportunity for local dancers to perform in such a professional setting is incredibly special to her. Finding and becoming involved with Ballet Brazos and the fantastic volunteers that make up this organization has been such a gift to her and her family.
