Carolyn Sacco Rutkowski
Carolyn was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. After earning her BS and MS from Penn State University, she moved to Switzerland where she earned her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Lausanne. Following graduation, Carolyn and her husband moved to Dallas and eventually to College Station for Joe’s faculty position at TAMU’s Health Science Center. For nearly 10 years, Carolyn has worked in the pharmaceutical industry to educate physicians about new therapies for rare neurological diseases.
Carolyn has been dancing since childhood and is excited to share her love of dance and performance with her children. It is a thrill to dance on stage in Ballet Brazos’s production of the Nutcracker as a party parent with her son and they cannot wait until her daughter is old enough to join them. She is also excited to put her organizational and project management skills to work behind the scenes volunteering on costumes for Ballet Brazos and the talented students of the region.
