Ballet Brazos Lead Dancer
Teddy Rutkowski
Teddy is a 9 year old 4th grader at Greens Prairie Elementary School. He started dancing at the age of 4 at Pure Energy where he was a member of the competition and performance teams. Now in his 6th year of dance, Teddy is on the competition team at Artistic Illusions Dance Academy (AiDA) where he enjoys various dance styles including ballet, jazz, musical theater, hip hop, lyrical and contemporary. Teddy has previously performed in the 2019 and 2021 productions of the Nutcracker as a Party Boy and a boy Polichinelle. This is Teddy’s third time performing with Ballet Brazos and he is excited to have been cast as one of the Peters for this year’s production of Peter and the Wolf, especially since he gets to perform with his dance teacher, Mr. Dom.
