Malini Natarajarathinam

Malini Natarajarathinam was born and brought up in India. She came to the United States to pursue graduate studies. She received her Ph.D. in Operations Management and M.S. in Applied Statistics from The University of Alabama. She also has a bachelor's and master’s degree in industrial engineering from Anna University and Auburn University, respectively. A job with Texas A&M brought her to College Station. She is now a Professor of Industrial Distribution in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University.

Malini grew up with an appreciation for all arts and learned classical Indian Bharatanatyam dance and Carnatic music for a couple of years when young. Both her children are now proud participants in the Nutcracker Ballet. Malini's association with Ballet Brazos started when her four-year-old son was cast in the 2016 Nutcracker Ballet. Since then, besides watching her children perform on the show, she has enjoyed volunteering with the organization while making friends with the Ballet Brazos families. She loves volunteering, cooking, and spending time with family in her free time.
