Ballet Brazos Lead Dancer

Kaylee Michaelson

Kaylee started dancing at the age of 4. Over the years she has taken a multitude of genres including modern, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary and ballet. Ballet and pointe have always been her focus.

Kaylee trains at the Ballet Academy at Suzanne's School of Dance during the school year. Over the summer she has attended summer intensive programs with the Houston Ballet since 2019 as well as Vitacca Vocational School and the American Ballet Theatre in 2021.

She started dancing with Ballet Brazos at the age of 6, as a Mouse in the 2013 Nutcracker. She has since performed as a Cherub, Dream Angel, Soldier, Baker, Party Girl, Snowflake US, Rosebud, Lead Chinese, Clara, Marzipan and Columbine Doll. She has also performed in the roles of Flower and Bird in Peter and the Wolf and as Water and Chick in Carnival of the Animals for Ballet Brazos.

She is very much looking forward to dancing as Lead Marzipan, Flower Fairy and Snowflake this year.
