In addition to our annual performance of The Nutcracker Ballet, Ballet Brazos stages performances throughout the community, sometimes in collaboration with other organizations. These performances aid in our mission to instruct, educate and enrich young people and their audiences through the art of dance, and provide quality classical ballet performances for the community. These performances provide an opportunity to showcase local talent, cultivate an appreciation for the arts, and inspire the next generation of dancers.

Ballet Brazos will once again join the BVSO as Guest Artists for Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf at the BVSO’s Annual Children’s Concert on January 27, at Rudder Auditorium at Texas A&M University. Brazos area 4th and 5th graders will join mischievous Peter and his fine animal friends in the meadow and by the pond for a musical adventure with a hungry wolf and the village’s hunters. Ballet Brazos dancers bring the story of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf to life visually as Guest Artists of the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra further helping to instruct, educate and enrich young people through the art of dance.
